Frédéric Jouvenot presents the new HELIOS Titanium Carbon Dial

Frédéric Jouvenot launches the new addition to the Solar Deity Collection: The Helios Titanium Carbon Dial. A fascinating new chapter in mechanical sundial watchmaking.

Frédéric Jouvenot, acclaimed Master Watchmaker and co-founder of the esteemed CONCEPTO movement manufacture, proudly announces the launch of the HELIOS Titanium Carbon Dial. This latest addition to the brand’s celebrated “Solar Deity Collection” reaffirms Frédéric Jouvenot’s passion for innovation, artistic sensitivity, and cutting-edge mechanical engineering.

A MECHANICAL SUNDIAL REINVENTED BY FRÉDÉRIC JOUVENOT

At the heart of the HELIOS Titanium Carbon Dial lies an ingenious, patented 24-hour jumping cage—the very first mechanical sundial of its kind. Instead of conventional hands or discs, 12 meticulously sculpted sunbeams mark the passing hours. These sunbeams shift seamlessly between day and night indications, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow on the dial. Finally, a rotating minutes disc at the center completes the time display.

THE CARBON DIAL: A STRIKING NEW FACE

In this new iteration, the carbon dial sets the stage for the bold contrast of black DLC-treated titanium. And rose-gold-toned sunbeams. The three-dimensional structure of the dial amplifies the watch’s dynamic appearance, echoing the subtle textures and resilience of advanced materials. The result is a refined, futuristic aesthetic that stays true to Frédéric Jouvenot’s visionary approach to haute horlogerie.

“At Frédéric Jouvenot, we strive to reimagine timekeeping by returning to its earliest inspiration: the Sun itself. The HELIOS Titanium Carbon Dial is a testament to our engineering prowess, where cutting-edge micro-mechanics and precision craftsmanship converge to capture the intricate interplay of light and shadow in a modern timepiece.” – Frédéric Jouvenot’s founder.

A Dial With Striking Contrasts: Geometry Black

Schwarz Etienne extends the bold spirit of the Geometry family with a striking new creation: the GEOMETRY BLACK. The latest in a series of four models, it skillfully combines contemporary elegance with century-old watchmaking craftsmanship.

SCHWARZ ETIENNE: THE MYSTERIOUS BLACK TONES

Its deep, mysterious black tones enhance the exceptional dial, reflecting the brand’s in-house expertise in movement manufacturing. Tradition and creativity unite in this piece of horological art, embodying the perfect harmony between mechanics and design. The GEOMETRY BLACK represents a fresh interpretation of the brand’s dedication to artisanal craftsmanship, perpetuating a Swiss tradition of excellence. Its 18-carat gold dial, entirely cloaked in black, exudes a powerful intensity. The monochromatic palette acts as a revealer, highlighting the subtle contrasts of its hand-guilloché patterns.

GEOMETRY BLACK: A DOMINANCE OF BLACK FOR AN ENCHANTING EFFECT

Schwarz Etienne enhances the depth and refined texture of the black dial through a subtle play of shadows and light. This effect is further emphasized by a polished 39mm stainless steel case, strengthening the monochromatic aesthetic of the watch. The hour and minute hands, with their elegant and minimalist lancine-style, stand out against the hand-guilloché black dial, offering optimal readability of the time. The small second is positioned at 6 o’clock on a delicately sandblasted anthracite subdial, subtly distinguishing itself from the rest of the dial. This sober and distinguished aesthetic extends to the patinated black leather strap, complemented by a tone-on-tone lining and a stainless steel folding buckle.

THE GEOMETRY COLLECTION: A DEMONSTRATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Schwarz Etienne concludes its Geometry family with the GEOMETRY BLACK. A piece that perfectly embodies the brand’s unique character and attention to detail. A modern reinterpretation of black, this timepiece represents a true reflection of the brand’s commitment to the art of watchmaking.
