Eberhard & Co. at Geneva Watch Week

Eberhard & Co. was present at Geneva Watch Week to present the novelties of the latest models released. The event took place at La Maison de L’Horlogerie, from March 27 to April 1, 2023.

THE NOVELTIES

During the Geneva Watch Week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a couple of journalists, who came to visit the exhibition and see the brand’s latest news.

SCAFOGRAF MCMLIX 300 – The contemporary version of SCAFOGRAF 300 was launched in 2016. In the same year received the Grand Prix D’Horlogerie de Genève award for the best sports watch of the year.

Traversetolo – From its very beginnings, Traversetolo was an immediate success, which endures to this day. It is one of the best-selling models of the house: animated by a hand-wound movement, which was created in the 1950s for pocket watches and perfected over time.

8 Jours Grande Taille – The 8 Jours was born from an intuition based on the technology used in the past in pocket watches. Equipped with hand-wound movements, they could keep working for several days without losing accuracy. The same classic lines were also maintained in its later, more generously encased version: the Grande Taille, with a diameter of 41 mm. The dials are inspired by tradition, with the power reserve displayed by a scale at 9 o’clock.

ABOUT THE BRAND – EBERHARD & CO.

Eberhard & Co. watches boast over a century of research and passion. Since 1887 the Swiss brand has been synonymous with excellence and innovation. Which are represented in precious timepieces with high technical content that have marked important stages.

Space Gallery x Ulf Saupe

Space Gallery St Barth is delighted to announce an exhibition of artworks by internationally renowned artist Ulf Saupe, at their New York City Gallery this Spring from March 23 till April 15, 2023. The subject? Water and sustainability – the elixir of life. Ulf Saupe is a German artist that studied Fine Arts at the University of Kassel with a specialization in experimental photography under the tutelage of photographer Floris Neusüss.

THE WORKS

The essence of Saupe’s work consists in making metaphors that respond to contemporary
socio-political and economic problems. Through photographs, sculptures and installations that reflect the human condition and its relationship with nature and society. In recent years the central element of his work is water.

“Water always finds its way through even the hardest of stones. Just as the truth, over time, cannot be hidden, and eventually finds its way to the surface. Thus, drop by drop, the glass fills up until one last one fills it up. The union of synergies being vital to prevent the avoidable and fight together for a necessary change”. Photography and installation currently represent the most suitable means of interpretation of my work and it is the materiality that receives my particular attention in the digital era. Ideally, my work will not constitute another piece of consumption, but rather invite the viewer to adopt novel perspectives when contemplating known issues.”, says Ulf.

For some time, Saupe’s work has focused on the water element and its ecological and economic
significance. The gallery will show various cyanotype techniques. As cyanotypes are handmade by the artist, each piece is unique. The blue images of the series Waterscapes are depict manifestations of water in its natural cycle, remote from human impact.
