Linde Werdelin & Sustainability

For this latest instagram live, I had the pleasure of chatting with Jorn Werdelin from the luxury sports watch brand, Linde Werdelin. We talked about the new 3-Timer Nord, the brand’s commitment to sustainability and their continued efforts to closing the gap between brand and clients.

In 2002, Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin created Linde Werdelin. The two friends got together to create a timepiece that would combine the reliability of a mechanical watch with the precision of professional digital instruments. This idea was born after Jorn suffered an unfortunate skiing accident.

Personal engagement and curiosity fuel LW on a daily basis, bringing to life collections which illustrate the two main universes of the brand, land and sea. From mountain climbing to deep sea diving, adrenaline is a part of the brand’s dna as so are functionality and accuracy. The brand currently has three collections, Spidos, Oktopus and 3-Timer.

THE LIVE

Sustainability has long been a priority for Linde Wedelin. From conscious design and production, recycled packaging to putting efforts into a circular economy, diversion, inclusion and energy efficiency. LW has greatly contributed to making the world better, ultimately gaining them the butterfly mark from Positive luxury; a company that is committed to creating a positive impact on the world.
