Maurice de Mauriac has recently launched the Chrono Modern North Cape Edition. The brand is the Timekeeper of the E30 to North Cape Expedition. And celebrates the partnership with a rugged edition chronograph.
They dedicated one of their timepieces to this northern adventure: The Chrono Modern,
in the Alpineracer North Cape Edition. The watch will be officially presented to the public on the 14th of April at Man’s World in Oerlikon in Switzerland. The Chrono Modern is an absolute classic in their collection and has accompanied and survived, pretty much every climatic and physical extreme in different challenges. Spoiler: in this particular expedition.
The Chrono Modern Expedition E30 to North Cape features their patented screwed bezel with a
unique pattern: the coarse corrugated ring enhances the ruggedness of the timepiece and gives it a special character. The orange on the chrono seconds hand and ‘North Cape’ signature provide a
striking contrast with the night blue dial and the particular orange hue was inspired by the N featured on the compass on the ground at North Cape.
