After previewing at Watches and Wonders Geneva the exhibition was showcased in Geneva (April 14 to May 8, 2022). Across seven themes, visitors embark on a journey to the heart of watch design; through the twentieth century to the present day, and beyond.
THE TIME DESIGN EXHIBITION
“Time Design” reveals the many creative facets of watch design in a journey through time. After a brief evocation of pocket watches, this immersive exhibition trains the spotlight on the wristwatch and its multiple stylistic iterations, from form watches to tool watches and contemporary executions.
THE PR TASK
As part of the Watches and Culture mandate, Sparkling PR was responsible for the Press Relations and all related logistics for this event.
After a successful preview at Watches and Wonders with over 50 international journalists’ visits and subsequent coverage, the task was now to mobilise the press to attend the Vernissage evening of April 13th and negotiate corresponding coverage/interviews. This included:
- Prepare international media listings
- Distribute press releases to over 1’000 contacts worldwide
- Send and track save the dates and the invitations
- Manage RSVPs
- Manage press on site
- Event follow-ups (send information, photos, videos)
